Kirsten Dunst et al

Yeah but I doubt that she is going to get used to it since she does have a very round face that is shown off by this new cut and this is the shortiest she has ever had her hair and she seems a little shy my guess is that she will grow it out. The more I look at pics of it the more I start to like it, it is an improvement from the long stringy boring hair she had all summer, I hope Im wrong and she does give it a chance.

Kirsten Dunst is far from convinced that hacking off her long hair was such a great idea - because it highlights her round face.

The young actress cut off her locks three hours before the premiere of her new movie Mona Lisa Smile and she likes her new Mia Farrow look, but sometimes worries she looks a little odd.

She says, "You know when you just want to cut movies out of your hair, I just wanted a new look.

"I'm going through trauma now. All I see is this little round face and this weird thing on top. Some days I like it better than others."
I doubt she will have short hair long, it sounds like she hates it and is going to grow it back out, to bad I think she looks cute, just needs some fine tuneing.

Kirsten looked very cute on Dave. I haven't thought so in a long while. Still thinks she needs to do something with the color. Blond or brunette, but not this dishwater blond. Dave was surprising in his hairstyle knowledge. He suggested she could go shorter, alluding to Mia Farrow's pixie, which was shorter.

Kirsten was just on Letterman.

He took a Leno-esque interest in her new do, devoting the first few minutes of the segement to it.

Kirsten got it cut just before the premiere yesterday, just because. She was going for a faux hawk type thing, which she got. I don't know if it will last, as she seemed on the fence about it.

I thought it was extremely cute, especially with what she was wearing on the show. I like the funky punk look. Hopefully she'll stick with for a bit.

On a hopeful note, maybe julia roberts will follow suit, since all of these girls were in the same movie with her. Hey, a guy can hope :D
My two cents

All I can say is wow!!!!!! I can't believe that Kirsten choped her hair. she went all summer looking like an orphan and now she loks like she was a volunteer at a beauty school. I like it as an improvement and the fact I love short hair but the bangs and side burns make her look like she ran out of the salon before the stylist was finished. Then the other thing is the fact she went so short and so quick just a week ago she was weaing a new style that she could only had a month at most, and a week later she cuts it again? I wonder why she didn't wear the other style longer and why she choose this style? On a side note Julia Stiles is looking hotter every time I see her, I think it was a smart move choping her hair and coloring it. Looking back at older pics she just was not that cute as she is now.

Regardless of whatever hairstyle she has, i've never thought of her as a great beauty. My two cents.

Kirsten cut it ALL off. Scrolldown to the bottom for conclusive proof. This a completely different look for her, and I like it. Very funky-punky.

I'm starting to wonder if Maggie and her don't have some kind of bet going on, since Kirsten seems to be getting the same haircuts as Maggie as of late.

Certainly looks shorter but not definative enought to call it yet. If it is that makes three haircuts in the past 2 weeks. Wonder if she intended to go that short and went in stages or just didn't like the first two so kept going?

Overall just not good. Although I didn't think the tapered bob was the best look on her I did think it was about the right lenght and would have been really nice if she'd tweeked it. It may sound silly to say that one color never looks good short, but I'm saying it. that in between, golden blond never looks good to me that short Short is a pretty extremem hairstyle and looks better either paler or a dark, rich color. As is looks a bit frumpy.

Kirsten in general looks like she gets her hair cut at supercuts(no offense to supercuts folk) and doesn't particularly care to style it anyway. She's gone from being a particularly gorgeous teenager to a fairly ordinary 20 year old(about that age). Part of its the hair and part of it is that the is boney and awkward looking. She's a perfect example for a woman to look a and realize that sometimes its better to be 5 pounds too heavy than 5 pounds to thin and is so unpolished that her hair winds up hurting more rather than helping.
