PH curls !!!! and glue question.

Welll, I can say LG is NOT my favorite. I'd rather use latex or keratin. I think I'm going with Syren and gonna do direct fusion next time.

Try tipping the hair with the epoxy as Marie suggested.  I did a few test piece that way and I found it to be a lot less messy than LG or fusion glue.

 

HAve you always done fusion Syren?  (oh and your sample went out yesterday as planned assuming I had adequate posted and it didn't get returned to me)

Do you think it is less detectble than rings/shrinkies?

I know its less detectable than pinch braids, seems like everyone says so.

But its much harder for a DIYer right?  I shied away simply cause of the fusion horro stories I 've heard.

Makes perfect sense.  Its not that initially there is a probem its just the way they wear.

I haven't had fusion but I thought keratine glue never let go of anything ever without pliers and glue dissolver and patience and...

Great Lengts is just reguler keratin fusion right?

So much information on this board. We should write a book!! RoseRose, do you get much shedding with the latex? What brand do you use?

I think a little melting is a good thing if you are using shrinkies, it seems to stay longer - at least in my hair.

Fina - How does it make a difference if you use the same amount of hair whether you use a shrinkie or not in terms of ripping right out of your head?  I can see why it would be more temporary...

I really like LG but I think that may be because I have access to trichlorethene, the last ingreident in it.  I can add more when I gets gummy and it goes right back to being thin and happy and not nearly asmessy as when its starts to dry.

I highly reccomend LG expecially if you want to spend $20 for some thinner (TCE mentioned above) to keep it happy.  The $20 will get you enough to keep a couple hundred bottles of LG happy.  I did some experiments with it worked just as well after I messed with it as it did before.

Some of my tips were barely int he shrinkies when my husband shoved the heat clamp on (or he knocked them slightly loose) and with LG the tips seemed to stick with heat even without the shrinkie being firmly attached.

I may even try an installation in the future where I use still tacky LG tips and heat and no rings or shrinkies....
