semi-waves, something wrong?

ha...got waves back. i think they are better than before too. heres wut i do now

-wash hair in shower, and brush while washing
-brush when i get out til water stop coming off my head
-put some pink in, and brush til cant see it no more (~5mins)
-wipe head w/ hot rag/towel in direction waves (go around 2-3 times)
-SMALL AMOUNT OF POMADE (i think thats where i messed up last time)
-brush for about an hour or so
-durag and sleep

~morning~

-put pink in, and brush
-brush for about 10-20 mins

im sure if i keep this up...ill be spinnin for sure

i wasnt sure when to put the hot towel on...some people say its melts the pomade to "spread" easier. i thought that was the case here. o well....i still got a few. besides..i think its time for a fresh cut, or at least an edge up

seems like i did something wrong. lost just about all my waves using the hot towel. heres wut i did:

washed hair and brushed in shower
put pink in hair, and brushed in
put hot towel on head
put in pomade
brushed
hot towel again for safe measures
brushed

when i brushed the first time...didnt see a big deal. brush still got messed up. the second time though...it was almost as if i was brushin the pomade out. every stroke had more and more pomade in the brush. looks like i have to start over

heres another thing i thought of...should my hair be wet when i put the pomade in? cause i put it in when its semi-dry to completely dry. cause sometimes i might have some water in the back of my head..and u can really see the waves back there

ight...thanx. ill start on that tomorrow

so how would i get my hair not to be dry? just using the hot rag before i put the pomade in?

2 quick questions. why the hot rag if i do this after a shower (the only time i do it), and wut do u mean brush in? everytime i put the pomade in and brush, i get all this crap in my brush
