I endeavor to use the diluted vinegar rinse after every washing; sometimes I forget (to make the rinse beforehand).  If I forget twice in a row I start to get buildup (and the scalp gets dirty more quickly).

I do it at least once a week, and there's never any problem.

Aloha! How often do you guys do your rinse? I just saw a lot of posts on it latley and I relized that I might be due...but can you over do it? I use the ACV rinse once a month.

Apple Cider Vinegar is the most commonly used variety for clarifying treatments. However, vinegar will not "cure" dry hair. Vinegar rinses will remove deposits of conditioner, oil, and/or other "gunk"  that sticks to hair strands. It's a good "cure" for hair that is crunchy or gooey from buildup.

hi i have dry damaged hair and I read using vinegar will help the dry hair be cured. Which vinegar do i use? Apple cider vinegar, distilled vinegar, or just regular vinegar? thanks.
