Judging by the picture posted, her hair needed a cut. Long hair is nice but if its unhealthy, it needs to go. A trim never hurt anyone.

I dont think she's had alot of hair cut off, when I opened this thread I was expecting to see a pixie cut, because her hair is definetly NOT short. Plus, her hair is curled in that picture, and curls make hair look shorter. It would probaly look alot longer if it was straightened.

It is possible to have very long bleached hair.  Both one of my best friends and my bosses partner did/do (respectively), from dark brown to bright blonde.  And it was in better condition too.  Maybe Shakira wasn't careful with the treatment of her hair...

But I must agree, it now looks boring and normal.

It's not like the butt length stuff was all her's. She couldn't possibly have bleached it that much and kept so much length. I think it's all real now and looking much healthier.

It's still blonde  in that picture! It is just the lightening. But it is much shorter...

I think she would look good with the brown pixie ^_^ .  *loves pixies*  Unfortunately, as curly as her hair seems to be, it would more likely turn out an afro if she went that short :-( .  Or is she permed?  I dunno much about her, really.

Mike, you're thinking of Brigette Nielson. I thought the same when I saw the pic. The dark short hair pic looks like a cross between Winona Ryder and Annie Lenox.
