Interesting that most of Martina Hingis' 5 Grand Slam titles came as a short hair. Maybe the long haired tennis players get too worried about ruffling their hair?

Now Now, Anna K did win several Doubles titles, but never singles, to be fair  Talentwise, I put Mary ahead of Anna, for looks and hair, the other way around!

Mary has won a few (unlike that OTHER blonde tennis player). Maybe she could have won more if she hadn't had that thick plait weighing her head down?

In some of those pics, she looks like she's going a bit grey on top. Blonde was better.

I'm not a tennis fan in the least, but if I was, Mary Pierce's dramatic cut years ago would have curbed my interest. It was a yawner! The Women's tour direly needs femininity to maximize the sale of its product, and Mary apparently has gotten the message, thankfully.   Bob
