Racoon have indeed changed their products, as you say asian is now 'standard' which we all know is another word for pretty crap, and they have the higher quality, twice as expensive european :/

Put in a feature - Customer comments. Write a little intro, "We get email from customers and inquiries from many sources. I'm sure you'll be interested in the emails I've gotten from this writer". Then reprint the emails, and note that you have decided to forward them to your supplier so they can reassure the writer that everything is as represented.
Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
I decided not to mension them for the time being but ill put a post up next week thanking them for visiting my site and glad they took an interest in my products.
like my keritin is such and such from .. and is no way the same as Racoon- or it is just like raccon. you cant be sued for posting what u are selling- anyway- why cant others sell keritin, just him????

I've sold on ebay for 5 years and it never ceases to amaze me how much time people have to be "helpful"/"critical.
My initial reaction is to write a heated email back, which generally triggers them to do the same and before you know it all your energy is going into an unproductive energy-sucking email flame fight.
Now I try to just ignore them which has been fairly effective...but sometimes I just can't resist!

ridiculous and petty way (or they'll try to take my seat whatever) and

Seriously. I would KAtherine's advice on fwding things to
AD. I'm sure they have both the motivation and money to put
Raccoon in their place. Does Raccoom think they are the only ones
who know how to make keratin glue????

Racoon are suppose to be the leaders in the Hair Extension World. I found that they had changed a few other things, the one I noticed was the changing of the 'Asian Hair' to 'Standard Hair'. Perhaps they are going through ebay to find out who is selling what as they might have had a drop in sales who knows?!!
He must have a lot of spare time on his hands if he is sifting through ebay and going to peoples websites.
Pity really he must be getting a good wack for that too!!

You should not have to test the material if it comes from a reliable supplier. If it is keratin, there is no reason for you to deceive your customers and tell them it is not. Tell him to direct all his correspondence to AD, as his beef is with them, and stop this harassment of you now. Then forward everything to AD. I would think they should have a lawyer who can handle him. He has been making false accusations against them and defaming their products, right? I should think they'd be very interested.

All i can say is that i have lost all respect i had for Racoon. Sometimes you imagine companies as being large and successful then something like this happens and shows that they are no different than any other company although may have a few more employees.
Im surprised to have received a downright accusation especially as he has never even purchased the glue therefore how can he even comment! I dont think he has contacted his solicitor before sending out any of his emails as accusing a company of lying is very serious stuff and not everyone will let it go!
Im not bothered though as its not my product however i have changed the description from Keratin to Adhesive as im no scientist and dont test AD's glue. I just take their word for it as they are a reputable company.

Wow, Ive missed alot in the past week. This is ridiculous......I can not believe that he would actually spend his time trying to accuse you of something so petty and stupid! Does he know how many salons and stylist "claim" to use keratin? He'd be sending e-mails to close to every second hairstylist. What a moron.

At best I think this is very irritating.
What kind of Keratin is he going to be testing them for?
I'm sure his keratin glue isn't pure either. I mean what would he do heat up a horses hoove and stick it on clients heads?
And would you really have to front the money for these tests? I mean if the Trading Standards people got involved.
Have you ever used Raccoon? I mean I would think you know what
Keratin is but if you have experience with what he thinks Keratin is
then you should be comfortable leaving your ads as is.
I know he wants money but yeesh. I've never even heard that Raccoon was the be all and end all anyhow...
I think the origional email i got was probably a standard one written out that was forwarded to a few people. The closest i have been to selling sticks on ebay is to included them FREE with a mini melting pot! Im going to call Raccon and actually ask to speak to him. Whatch this space.
