I wasn't going to respond but here goes. -- metagirl, I feel that your post was not only rude but it smashes all of the individuals who post on this site and who promote their own businesses and/or products! Well respected and obvious individuals.

I post here. metalgirl's reply to you didn't offend me. So, when you say it smashes all of us, who are you referring to?

I provided information to any individual out there who is looking for information reguarding extensions in NC. That is exactly what this site is meant for.

No you didn't. You only provided information that was self-serving. You better look back at your first post and read it again.

And what this forum is is exactly what we've all spent time building it to be - a board to share ideas, information, inspire, critique and look out for other's behalf. People who have links to their businesses and salons are participants in every way on this board - not just using it as personal, free advertising space.

Besides, I did not go and say we were the best out there or anything.

You didn't? Oh, ok. I guess the confusion came when you wrote, "We are providing the best of North Carolina with quality hair extensions using the Hairlocs method."

I was honest and maybe a tad excited about our new website that is still undergoing changes but definitly viewable and informative.

Now I have to be honest, your site looks like a lot of Hairlocs sites out there with no original photos introducing the customer to your salon or your individual work. Did you just lift the photos from somewhere and design the template around them or something?

As for the method of hairlocs, we all must remember that the method itself is only as good as the individual applying it.

Who do you think you're addressing with this group, a bunch of amateurs?

All of our customers are satisfied with the Hairlocs method. However we have had individuals who have come to us from another stylist, unhappy for different reasons, maybe their hair was shedding. We were able to identify that the application was done incorrectly blah blah blah.... [snip]

See? You keep doing it.

If there is anyone else out there who has any questions or comment, please feel free to post.

Thanks for making me feel free to do so. Here's my comment - I'd like to see you delete your website link, participate in the forum on a variety of extension methods, maybe give some encouragement and then after a few months of being an active member, put your website link back up.

Well, thanks for the tip on the fish oil, now at least that's contributing something!

Admin Note:  Advertising of services is NOT allowed under any circumstances on the HairBoutique.com HairTalk boards.  This fact is listed very clearly in our Rules of Conduct for posting here.  All blatant advertising is immediately removed with no exceptions.

And.....If you wear hair extensions or even if you don't you will all want to try and get on a good Fish Oil.  High in Omegas!  Try Carlson's Cod Liver Oil.  You can find it at a health food store.  I honestly believe that extension wearers and non extension wearers should all try to stay on good vitamins to help keep their hair healthy and strong.  Aside from the Fish oil, a good B complex is what I would recommend, and Bioten too.

My title of post was Hair Extensions in NC, and the reason for my post is to let all individuals out there near or in NC that hair extension services are being provided using the Hairlocs method.

If there is anyone else out there who has any questions or comment, please feel free to post.

Have a great day!
