Actually, it is not good to put the bonds too close to the scalp. For one, it causes the bonds to stick out instead of lie flat which in some cases can make them easier to spot (especially if you have thin hair or haven't washed it for a few days). There is also less ease movement so when you do ordinary things that might cause the bond to need to move (like brushing hair, laying down on your pillow) when the bond moves it becomes painful and actually pulls out pieces of your own hair. Its best to have the bonds installed at least 3/4"
I agree completely and also add that not only does installing fusion close to the scalp cause the extensions to stick out but also makes for a very painful first week for the client.

people who attack and demean others have very low self esteem. In order to make themselves appear or feel better, the simply put down people and attack them. they are the type of people to be pittyed. They really should be ashamed of their behavior.
There is one thing to give constructive criticism, and another thing to be so imature and to say something so mean. I think, ignoring them is the only hope they will give up and go away. Obviously they have no work and no life otherwise why would they be on here acting out in such a vile and evil way.
The best defense in this matter to rid this board of the trolls is PRAYER!!! We bind every evil spirt and attack in HIS name!!!

This is the same IP in the same subnet as the original HairbyValencia.
Unfortunately, sadly, there is some level of truth in what this person says.. ISPs assign IP addresses dynamically, (i.e. you are assigned the next availble IP address when you log in..) or some ISPs only have ONE IP address they assign to all users. Their backend network then handles all requests (packets) going out to the web. (Similar to how a home router works) The ONLY thing you can tell about the IP address is who the ISP MIGHT be.. I say might because there are methods for spoofing IP addresses. IP spoofing is a method used by hackers for spamming message boards and guestbooks which employ IP logging. Spoofing makes the IP address in the posts appear legit, when in fact they are not. (It's a problem I fight DAILY on my own website and my husbands website guestbooks) However, unless you are technically savy, the average end user does not possess the technical know how to spoof an IP address.
Also keep in mind some ISPs who are DSL providers, lease their lines to other DSL providers. Earthlink for example leases lines from PacBell here where I live, and PacBEll leases lines from Covad. So an IP address in the same subnet MAY not be from the same internet provider..
It is impossible to come to any concrete conclusions from just the IP address only.. However, depending on the backend achitecture of this forum, other data logs may provide the ISP with enough data IN ADDITION TO the IP address which can help determine who ACTUALLY posted the note..
I just wanted to point out from a techincal standpoint, that an IP address in the same subnet by itself ONLY says that the poster MIGHT be using the same ISP as Valencia.. It doesn't tell you anything else. Hopefully you have enough additional data from the forum backend logs to provide the ISP with some clues as to the identity of the person(s) involved. Sorry for jumping in here, I wanted to throw in my three cents from the perspective of an IT professional.. I hope this all works out..

I am not a troll. I have been getting hair extensions for quite some time and I've seen hundreds of them. These extensions are AWFUL and they should not even be done by some careless person who works out of her home with no certification. I thought this board was for mature discussions, if you can't handle it, ban me. I'll find another board where honesty is welcome. I stand by what I said, those extensions look like crap. But who knows? Maybe all of you people have bad extensions. Judging from the cheap methods you use, I wouldn't doubt it. Don't bother to reply, I will not be back. I prefer to speak with adults who can afford real hair extensions rather than half @ss cheap ones. Good day all!
This is the same IP in the same subnet as the original HairbyValencia.
We are formally contacting her ISP today and reporting/forwarding her trolling activities that were done via her posts on this board. So I am leaving this up temporarily so that her ISP can come by and see the posts.
Thanks for all your help.

these comments are not even worth any response....you are in violation of SEVERAL board rules. You will be banned, your comments will be deleted....Ciao to you too!
• Trolling Will Not Be Tolerated! Please don't add posts that are inflammatory just to annoy people or add posts that you know will cause arguments.
• Personal Attacks! Please do not criticize people. While it is appropriate to share your difference of opinion, please do so with kindness and courtesy. Please remember that the written word may appear harsher than those that are spoken. So please post in a manner "as if" you would wish to be talked to in person.
• Flaming. Flaming will not be tolerated. This includes any posted material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, those that invade the privacy or others, any posts that are blatantly sexually oriented, or violates any laws.
Additionally, you're a bunch of idiots running this board. I've never posted here in my life so you do not have my IP number. Especially since I have about 3000 of them. Was just browsing and saw that sh*tty work. I honestly feel bad for the girl and anyone else who goes to you. YOUR WORK IS HORRIBLE. Who cares if you're booked all month, my extensionist is booked for the next 6. Doesn't mean a thing. Just that some cheap people can't afford the real deal. I feel sorry for them.
Ciao!

Yeah we`re a great team!:D i "reacted" so much that one of my posts was deleted,.. to hostile maby?:P but umh whatever im just so glad to se them go!:D
I have not seen the other post thang, what was that about? o.O
Unfortunately when fighting breaks out, some posts that are not necessarily hostile or inappropriate may get deleted because they are embedded in the middle of other posts that need to be deleted for those reasons.
Also, sometimes it is impossible to delete one post without losing the entire "thread". So posts may be deleted as a result of deleting an entire topic direction.
Finally, some posts are deleted when the offending party has been banned or deleted but someone continues to post about the topic....in essence trying to keep the pot stirred. :-)
We just try to keep things calm, peaceful and friendly and thus sometimes posts may get wiped and are "Friendly Fire" victims.
So sorry for any inconvenience.

Oh come on you guys...it's kinda fun when the trolls show up! It shakes things up and gives us a chance to gang up on them for being mean to our girls! I kind of like it every once in a while just for fun.
There's never any real danger cuz we have the likes of Sherrie to flush them out and hand them over to Karen who then tosses them back into the sewer from which they crawled.
Good on ya, Synne, for hanging in there in the face of the troll attack. Your installs look great, especially for being so new at it and not having styled the hair. It's a process and you're well on your way to being the Extension Mistress of Denmark!
