To be honest, I love the hair. It is a good 'investment', well for me it is. LOL And as stated before Camille knows her stuff and if you have questions or whatever she does answer then truthfully and prompt. So Sherrie, you and others that go with RHT will not be disappointed. Good luck with the bid!

I hear you.. BUT if it's any help.. I have heard NOTHING but good things about the hair and it's quality, and in my conversations with Camille, she really knows her hair products.. I hope you get it..

no, no response yet, I got pre-occupied with something else and forgot to send an email to Camille the other day, and just sent her an email earlier today. So I'll just wait *patiently* (yeah right) for her response! I just think that someone else who may know the quality of her hair first hand, may be more likely to bid higher than my bid! Great quality remy virgin hair in BLONDE is quite rare, but its hard for me to put myself on the line for hair Ive never seen or dont really know the quality.

well...I may not win the bid. I didnt bid as high as I probably *would* have if I had been able to see the hair or know the quality first hand. I'll probably kick myself in the butt later!

Remyhairhusband..

If you're still out there, I just want to let you know I noticed the site changes you recently made.. Now that you dialed back the background a bit, the text links are MUCH easier to read now.. And I can CLEARLY see the mute button.. Bravo to you.. Not bad for a guy who says he doesn't know Flash.. I know enough Flash to be semi-dangerous.. But I now have a Flash designer that I use when I need to..

Thanks.. I think Sherrie and I conducted ourselves very well.. . We were even able to sing Kum Bai Ya afterwards.. Life's too short to get your panties in a bunch on a forum chat with name calling and such.. What the he** would that accomplish.. So I say forget the drama.. I came here to talk about hair.. just like you said "where can I get it, how much is it,do you like it,have you tried it, what do you think of this hair".. The SIMPLE things in life..

Sherrie,
I was on Remy Hair Today's site yesterday, and they have an announcement on the front page about this elusive virgin blond hair.. I sure hope they still have it, and that you can get it.. I would LOVE to see what the heck this hair looks like.. Let us know what Camille says when she contacts you.. I hear she's playing catch up on e-mails after just returning from vacation.. So she may be slower to respond than normal.

Thanks.. My Jonathan is the BOMB! His work is completely natural looking and long lasting..

Yes he sizes the wefts and cuts them to fit each row as he installs.. We used the RK machine wefted hair. However, the top three tracks we used the RK handtied wefts.. RKs handtied wefts were unlike any handtied wefts I've ever seen before.. They looked more like mini versions of the machine wefts..

Camille's wefts are the "traditional" style of handtied weft, and they must be sealed when you cut them. Or buy yourself some Fray Check and seal the wefts yourself. If you've never done this use some cheap BSS hair to practice with. Camille offers a service where she will seal the wefts for you if you don't want to attempt this..

Divavocals did your stylist cut your wefts? Your hair is very nice.

Yep.. I wasn't interested in the bulk hair because like I said, the shedding and takedown process of fusion extensions was a real turnoff for me.. I'll be buying the wefted hair.. (As soon as I can wrangle some free funds..) I'm wearing my RK Hair right now.. It's going on two weeks and so far so good with this hair..

Man I can't post at work, so I'm trying to type quick before my 21 month old grabs the keyboard!  I had Remy Hair today, bulk, pretipped into fusions last December.  The hair never, never, never, never tangled.  NEVER.  It was unreal.  The only downside for me, was being african american, the textures didn't work out for me, and with fusion all of your hair is out.  Once I put some olive oil on it, it was really soft.  I haven't had it on the weft yet.  Oh, the hair wasn't black, it was like a really dark brown and even had some natural highlights in it.  I was only able to keep the fusions in for one month though, because I had some terrible shedding, and it looked straggly after a month.  If I get some more, I will try the wefted hair from them.

I got sew-in extensions.. (pics here:)

I've tried other methods (pinchbraids, fusion) But call me old school.. I have had the best results with sew-in extensions. Besides the take down process for sew-ins isn't as long, dramatic or drying to my hair as some of the strand by strand methods.. and I like the fact that I can reuse the hair.. I may look into shrinkies (sorry I used the "S" word ) The hair can be reused, but not sure how it will hold up under some of my styling products. Then again, the takedown and the removal process is somewhat of a turnoff for me..

I know sew-ins get a bad rep sometimes, but honestly I haven't had problems with bulkiness, heaviness, or blending and styling versatility.. My stylist is very good, and I can wear my hair up or in a ponytail if I choose to.. The thing is I'm pretty simple when it comes to hair styles anyway.. When I discovered drawstring ponytails, and buns, I swear I wore a variety of them nearly EVERY day for almost three years..

Diva Vocals is your stylist doing a sew in or fusion on your hair. I just spoke with camille about the weft hair, I have not used it yet. I have only used the bulk hair.

I promise you that the price is worth it.. My hair lasted two years. I brought the hair home after my last takedown and re-install, and once I clean it I could actually us it again. (I'm trying out RK Hair right now) As for the sample, they took my from the back of my head just an inch above the neckline.. The sample size was large enough to match the color and texture, but small enough that my hair blended right over the spot. Think about 1/2 the size of a yellow school pencil if you were to measure around it.

BTY, what is a closure?

No hair is tangle free. Even your own natural hair will tangle. It's the degree of tangling and shedding that you should be looking at... What you don't want is for the hair to mat. Mats are tangles from HELL, and EP hair does not mat..

A closure is a piece that is bonded or sewn in to the crown area. It would have a microfilament or latex piece under the hair that looks like a natural part.. Next time you go to EP ask them to show them to you.. A few of the girls who work there wear 'em.. and TRUST me.. You would never know just looking.. They were nice enough to let me see their hair.. I really love that they stand by their products so much that the people who work there wear the hair.. Wonder if they have any part time jobs.. The employee discount must be awesome!

You know during my communications with your wife it became CLEAR that she really KNEW her product from a true "been there, done that" kind of perspective.. Like she was on a mission to do this out of her own quest for (as one of the members here said.. ) the "holy grail" of hair.. I could really appreciate that she knew the deal with BSS hair.. I wish you both well.. I'll be ordering soon..

That made me smile. There's someone in my household that can totally relate to that.

I read about Valencia's pre-tipping service some time ago and the price was very reasonable. I've got some Malaysian Remi bulk coming and I could sure use that service.
