Any Really Good Drugstore Haircolor??

i was blond, and decided to go brown, then slightly red (i am now blond again) but my hair was really damaged, thats why i went brown, ihad my stylist use a prism, its semi-permanet hair color. it has to peroxide in it to hurt the hair what so ever. i did it about every 4 weeks, because it washed out by then. it was awesome and helped my hair. she actually let me buy the bottle from her directrly, so i could do it myself. ask ur stylist about it. my hair grew a lot since i wasnt bleaching it anymore and didnt have any permanet color in.

If you hair is damaged you should stay away from any chemical services such as haircolor, perm, relaxers, etc. They pull moisture from the hair strands and dry out the hair. The problem usually occurs after the service when clients don't properly care for their hair with professional products shampoos, conditioners, and deep conditioning treatments to restore the moisture and elasticity to the hair strands.

Its funny because many women who come to my salon always think their hair is damaged when they sit in my chair and most times it's fine they just like to think it's damaged. Typically if your hair knots easily or is very snarly it is a good indication that you have some damage going on in your hair. Dry hair doesn't necessarily mean damaged hair it's usually just lacking moisture and a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner along with weekly deep conditioning treatments will resolve that problem.
