Colorfix Permanent Hair Color Removal

It will fade over time.  You can speed up the fading process with dandruff shampoo and there are lots of at-home remedies that I can't remember 

One quick note on Color Remover. It works very similar to bleach but it is not as harsh on the hair....however deep conditioning after is still something that should be done as with any chemical procedure even color removal it dries the cortex of the hairstrand out.

Color Remover only removes Permanent Haircolor that was applied to the hair strands. Demi or Semi Permanent haircolor will not be removed using Colorfix or any other color remover.

Color Remover lifts in stages just like bleach and when you are done you will be left with brassy undertones....redish orange, orange, orange-yellow or yellow. What you are seeing when you see this is the underlying pigment that has been exposed. You should also look at color charts for tint backs this will give you an idea of the colors that you can safely put over the current underlying pigment of your hair. If your hair is a red or redish orange or orange you will not be able to successfully lift that to a blonde color. The only way for you to do that would be to bleach afterwards...but I wouldn't recommend doing that as color removal then bleach is very damaging to the hair and breakage or severe chemical damage could occur.

Underlying pigments exposed....this is Goldwell's level system which is a European Level System that goes from 2-10 with 2 being the darkest and 10 being the lightest.

Ok, I bought it and it didn't budge the super dark brown in my hair, am I doing something wrong?

Where can you buy this colorfix?

I havent used Colorfix, but I've used Goldwell, which is more or less the same thing except it comes in two bottles like with hair dye.  If you have medium brown it'll most probably get you down to a light brown/dark blonde colour, depending on your natural tone (you didn't say what it was?), and depending on how much you've dyed/how long ago.  IT IS BEST to test strand!  Colorfix is supposedly the most gentle hair colour remover out there, so you'll probably not notice the little damage it has done.  I didn't with Goldwell anyway.

Yes, you're right, Colorfix will leave a slight orange tinge in your hair which you will overcome by either dying over using an ash tone, or bleaching and toning your hair until there's no more orange.
