I agree with Anais Satin that the most important thing you can do is eat balanced and healthy and exercise.
Aside from that, I read that 3+ grams of MSM can make hair grow
faster. I'm taking it, and since I started it did start to grow
faster, but I'm not sure if it's because of that because I also started
walking for exercise regularly and the weather warmed up, and "they"
say that speeds up hair growth.
I don't want to experiment by stopping taking the MSM because it also
stopped my knees from grinding, so I guess I may never know.
I don't think vitamins make a difference in speed of growth, just the quality of the growth.. then again you can also eat a balanced diet and it would do almost the same thing. My long hair journey involved a few multivitamin tablets here and there, but other than that, nothing.
avoid fast food
eat food with as little processing as possible
eat poultry, fish, nuts, vegetables, dairy, foods rich in vitamin E and calcium
stay hydrated
exercise - this increases circulation, which could increase growth rate. I think exercise has a greater impact on growth rate than vitamins.
Hey there, I am trying to grow out my hair to sholder length, and am looking for something to help it along. I've read a lot of good things about vitamins formulated for hair growth, but i was wondering which kind works best, since some are like $7 and some are$50...are the more expensive ones really worth it?
if you guys know of a certian kind of vitamin that works well for hair health and growth, please let me know :)
