Where do you find mixed human hair #4 with 614

you can get it at most fabric shops. Some Walmarts have it, some dont.

yes you can malibu. I did that when I wore the wawa. I shrinkied and microringed pretipped lowlights to the blonde wefts. It worked wondeful, but also added some extra bulk, which didnt bother me, but some people might find it bulky.

Thanks Sherrie!!! Yep.. A popsicle stick is a great idea too.. Aleene's is pretty thick and you have to make sure that it gets into the weft.. Otherwise that glue will just SIT and FLOAT on top of the weft.. You want the sealant to form a bond with the weft to really reinforce it.

I wanted to come up with a way to do the same thing.. If I remember correctly you wear sew-in extensions like me.. So here's what I have been brewing up in the "lab".. I cut 1/4" pieces of the hair I wanted to use for highlights and VERY carefully using an EXTREMELY thin needle and thread, I am attaching the highlights to the darker hair. I am being careful since the needle could cut the hair and you don't want that.. So I dulled the needle just a little with a nail file.. Then I used a little sewing beeswax to coat the needle and the thread so it would slide a little easier through the weft..

Since I am not coloring my own natural hair, I want these highlights to be somewhat subtle. So I am attaching them on the under side of the darker hair. If you want more dramatic highlights you would place them on top of the darker hair..

Once I have attached all of the highlights, then I sealed the entire weft with my weft sealant on both sides to keep everything in place and to anchor the highlights firmly to the weft. Aleene's Stop Fraying is an excellent weft sealant.. (Use an orange wood stick to help spread and push the glue into the weft)

I've colored the jetset but never bleached it.....my experience with jetset tells me it would be a big tangled mess if I tried to bleach it....better to just mix colors.....just don't think you'll find the 4/614 combo.....but you might find someone who can custom blend if your not in a hurry.

The highlights I have are very thin blonde streaks so would it look like too much blonde  if I put it on the bottom of a double weft? Have you ever highlighted the jetset hair with bleach ?
