Thanks you guys. I didn`t think that they were professionals, thats why I had to get second oppinions. I think I will just leave my hair alone until I can fork over the doe to get it foiled professionally. I have really invested a lot of time into my hair and really I don`t wanna ruin it. I was afraid that if I pulled it through a cap that it would be broken off, so thanks for saving my hair.

Most of the ladies over at Sally`s are NOT "professionals", at least from my own experience. You will want to double check any advice you get from them especially on something as serious as color!

WOW, that`s kinda funny. Your hair is way to long to pull through a cap. I can`t believe she told you to try it. You must have had a real mess when you were done.
Ok, I know I made a post about highlighting my waist length brown hair not to long ago. Well, to make a long story short, I went to my local Sally`s and one of the ladies that works there told me that I could pull my hair through a cap. I don`t know if she is a professional or not but to some of you professionals out there does this sound kinda stupid or what? Please respond.
