Yea i agree its on how you carry yourself but remember people are still prejudice. If you want someone to take you seriously in the work place I would be as  clean cut as possible. Still a white mans world. They can still be ignorant.

Getting a job all depends on how aggressive you are. I see guy with all types of hair styles getting jobs in Chicago. One thing you gotta realize is it's how you present yourself getting a job. Also, they're not dreads, they're called locks. If you have some mini locks going and you're well groomed, dressed professionally, and you have the requirements, you'll get the job. Black people are so stuck on how their hair looks when go out for a job. Then when they go out to get one they speak in fragment sentences and Ebonics.
