gosh we should get together! i know of some ny food places around here!
s
Do you? I gave up on "New York" restaurants here because it's like,
what??? They call their restaurant "NY" style because they put some
subway signs on the wall and the owners act like a__holes....ie:
Albano's in West Hollywood. It makes me depressed.
Tangles, I'm from Brooklyn too! Yes, the food (all food) is so much better there, hands down.
What part of Brooklyn are you from? I lived in Bay Ridge (off the
N&R), and Bedford-Stuyvesant (off the G train). I moved here six
years ago for work (I knew no one) I've never felt so alone in my
entire life. It was quite interesting. But things change and you meet
people. I met my husband here!
malibu where in nyc are u from, i am origionally from Bklyn- cept i moved out here when i was 19- a million years ago... still a new yorker at heart, man i miss it and the food yummmmmmmm

I have to say I'm shocked! I have ordered from them many times and besides the insane shipping time, I have been very happy with my purchases. I did notice that they have started to carry other stuff recently, like telescopes, etc....Kinda random for a hair & wig place. Thanks for the heads up!!
Hi Everyone. Hi Nursie. All the exchanges were over email. They are so brazen and clearly they feel very comfortable putting their insults in writing. I faxed everything over to the BBB in San Diego. I don't know if it will help and I probably don't have much recourse as I live in NYC. But I chalk it up to a lesson learned. If I get anymore details about this company I will be sure to post it. Thanks for all your support.

You know, I think I remember something weird with this company too, I can't remember exactly what, probably a discouraging email from them, I don't know, but I have never wanted to make business w/ them. You know their prices aren't so good either.
So sorry for you that you heard bad words like that, it always is a shock when strangers talk to you like that
wow you werent kidding about all the complaints on the internet about them! this is a good reminder to me to do my research before handing over my business shebastacey!
lotta talkin 'bout hair n other stuff: http://www.diyextensions.net/
I'm new to this and have come over from Black Hair Media. The message below is quite real and I'm not trying throw dirt on a vendor for the heck of it. I just want my fellow weave, wig, and fall wearers to beware of a very rude and potentially dangerous vendor. Please spread the word wherever you can.
I ordered some hair and weave supplies from this company. This time it was my second order and the manager of this company said I could not read or do math, and the finale was this person, this so-called customer service manager called me a stupid b!tch.
What's so outrageous is he or she, (honestly, I think this person is a he, probably from a male-dominated country who feel women are inferior) put all of this in email and apparently has 7 other complaints. He has verbally abused others calling them stupid, b!tches, whores, and even threatened another customer with physical harm buy suggesting he would come to her house as he had her personal information.
It was my own mistake for ordering from a company without a physical address or direct telephone number so I will except responsibility for my own folly.
He's also comes after salons that have made complaints about him, so if you are salon or third party vendor, I would stay clear of this company. Just google "internation wig complaint" and you can read the horror stories that come up. I'm usually more vendor/research savvy, but in my excitement and love of weave hair, I clearly lost my head. Pun intended. LOL.
My bank has already reversed the credit card charge so I'm not worried about getting my money back. It just really irritates me that so many companies get away with poor customer service and abuse. For those of you who post on other hair boards please pass this information along.
When I get to work on Monday, I'm going to pull all the physical corporate information on this company through our investigators and I will post what I get in case any of you have had difficulty with this company.
Take care, ladies. I'm trying to keep my sense of humor about all of this and chalk this up to a lesson learn. It's just so frustrating that companies from everything to hair vendors, pet food, and telephones can get away with such gosh-awful customer service tactics.
