i dont think u should get maintenc cut im not pro of hair but i think its a bad idea the hair u wanna get isnt that long so jus grow ur hair abit longer then cut it i also wanna have a hair like johnny depp long hair style tho but the side of my hair is growing slower then back and the back is growing so fas

(In that 2nd photo, I'm on the left in the black and white striped collared shirt. You can see things getting untidy in the back... if I weren't going to grow my hair out, I would have cut it then.)
I think I'm in what is called the "bad-hair phase" now. The back of my hair is growing uncontrollably and my front is just chillin... when the back curls up a lot I brush it clockwise into my neck to make it stay down, but then it looks like a mullet! (I've been informed of this by other people.) I will take pics of this asap. Should I get a maintenance cut, or let it curl in the back to keep the mullet look away?? I just want to have long hair! Is curling up in the back part of the long hair look? I'm too used to short hair to be able to accept it.
