it has a shoelace tip with a tiny loop of string around it. your hair gets pulled thru the loop and then string is knotted around your hair.
when u need maintenance, like two mths- the string is cut off, then the I tip is installed with a microcylinder.
i had the guy come to my salon to show me, i bought everything, but honestly i didnt care for any of it, i ended up selling it to someone. the idea of having to use the cylinders for maintenance, i do that already with my locs, so why start with thread and knotts, ya know?

Sorry if I am repeating a topic, but can someone explain Microchet to me? I have had fusion and micro links, and while I am happy with the links I still lose 10 a week b/c my hair is so baby fine. And it’s embarrassing when I am out and one starts slipping and I have to pull it out and hide it in my purse! So I am looking into alternative application methods. How are they applied?I read something about threading the hair but I am still confused. Also, if anyone does them in Chicago, PM me.
