Awww - I love his hair and the color too!  He has the same haircut as my 10 your old - except he is a blonde.

Here is my son's hair.  He's growing it long too. Smile

His hair is super thick!  Like the tickest I've ever run my fingers through.  Oh wait!  I can't run my fingers through it with out them getting caught up, it's so thick!

My hair has always pulled red.  My sister is a red head so I guess I pull red honestly. LOL 
 
The growing out is such a slow process!

Your hair is very pretty and I also love the color.  I was surprised that the Garnier Med. Brown 501 gave you such a pretty red tone to your hair, since most med. browns look dull.  Your hair also looks very healthy and shiny.  Happy GrowingThumbs%20Up

I don't use anything else and I'll go elsewhere if I can't find it at a store.   LOL

I colored my hair today.  I don't like my gray hair.  I'm noticing more and more so that's why I color it! LOL 
 
Here is a pic aired dry.  I did cheat a little and used a blow dryer on cool setting while I ran my fingers through it... so it still counts as aired dry right?colorful
 
 
I still have a ways to go and I'm loving it more that it is at one length, almost.  I have a  shorter layer on the left side than the right but it only bugs me.  I'll get it trimmed again in December.  <I tried Faye's method and got nervous so my friend trims it for meWink>

Your hair looks alot like mine! You said you never had waves before, but do now. I'm experiencing  the same thing. My DH asked me last night what I did to my hair, he said it looked like I just took rollers out of it. I always had stick straight hair, weird.
