Just got my samples today, too. Nice color and beautiful wave.
Do not -- I repeat -- do not put heat to this hair. I tested a small portion of the ends with a curling iron that was on for about 30 seconds and it kinked right up. The iron wasn't even what I'd consider very hot. There's no way to fix the hair once that happens... you'll have to cut that portion off. Really. The damage can't be reversed.
The 50mm and 28mm wave is stunning. Now, if it washes and dries OK and doesn't tangle, matt, and is able to be combed, I just may be doing the switch over.

nod - i agree - mine got (very) stringy, with a bit of kink :\
Thanks Amm, they look really "Real" LOL. Im glad I ordered the 28 mm. I was serious about sending each other color samples! If any one is interested let me know by bmail. I should get my supplies in soon I ordered several blonde shades.
Sara just e-mailed me saying she will send me a sample of the "weizen" shade in straight. Yea! QUESTION ~ will this synth hair be OK to use with the shrinkie method as long as I pretip it? I know from reading the previous posts it doesn't withstand heat directly, but if I pretip it will that be sufficient? I don't plan on curling it as I have stick straight hair to begin with...

As an experiment, I took some cheap Kanekelon I had no use for, braided it (1/2" wide x 1/4" deep braid), and dropped it in a pan of just-boiled water. After a minute I removed it, let it cool and blotted it dry. Wow! kink city. I wish my own hair would take a wave 1/4 as well. Somebody could probably put natural-looking waves in synthetic that way, so long as the braids are large enough across.
Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
well i think i should answer some questions here : )
about the price increase... this is not satisfying me so far : / actually my problem is the very small orders. it takes the same time in packaging and packing costs as a big order but brings much less. im working on a special "loyality discount" option and a "quatity discount" option. as i wanna give good costumers better prices.. but i recalculated again. and now its 13.20$
as for the colourrings can make you an offer: if you only need the natural colours and if several of you are interested in getting one, i can place a bigger order and give it out more pricey.
oh and about the heat. curling irons are not very suitable. i prefer to steam the hair! its the best! i even figured how to make the most beautiful doll curls only by steaming the hair : ))
ohh and yeah! im working on a new colour chart! i soon have very good pictures of all the haircolours! i know its a bit crappy by now!
as for the wefts! you can have any kinds of wefts! max. lenght is 39inches. i can have any colours blended for wefts or even have multicoloured wefts, ( eg. 1inch white next 2 inches brown,...whatever!) but as i order all wefts costumised and do not have them in stock theres a min. order quatity of 5meter ( 1meter = 39inch) and of course if you order 5meter ill give you a better price : )
ohhh and another thing about heat! if your wearing straight synth hair brushing while blow dry your hair quite hot is very good for the hair. but you might need a bit of practice for that. synth hair can get a bit "dry" after some months. but i keep blow dry mine every week so they stay smooth and shiny.. but of course that method is killing any kind of curls or waves.. just for straight!
Thanks for your reply, Sara. A lot of us are trying synth (and PlastikHaar) for the first time, so we're just trying to figure out how it differs from human hair in terms of care.
Maybe if you get a chance, it might be valuable to post some general care guidelines (what to do, what not to do), with recommended products, brushing, washing, and blow-drying instructions, and such. This might actually be a good thing to have on your Web site (although I'm sure you're very busy with your own customers in Zurich, but maybe sometime....).
I think a lot of us are wondering how to best keep the curl in the extensions. As I understand it, synth becomes straighter over time. So how would you suggest reviving it, etc.? Generally, how long will it maintain its shape before you need to recurl or steam it? How long does the hair usually last?
As always, thanks for all of your help with this, Sara. I really appreciate your putting so much effort into your customer service. :)
5 Meters seems like alot of hair - isn't it? What are all of you doing with this extra hair? 1 Meter would be enough for me and I wish she would sell it this way :O(

Yeah it is alot of hair...but I know Ill still be wearin' and doin' extensions for a long time so it wouldnt go to waste! She has to cutom order the wefts so she has to cover her costs! Interesting thought... I bet there would be enough people that would be intersted in purchasing the extra weft ..... theres an idea!
