My name is Kimberly and I am 34 years old. I live in NJ (near Princeton) with my husband Michael who is 37 and our two children Christopher who is 6 and Nicholas who is 3.





The blond hair is from my husband's side of the family (his hair looks darker in this picture though) - LOL

We will be married 10 years this May

At the moment I am a stay-at-home mommy but will resume teaching in another year (certified K-8th grade). I play percussion instruments in a community band, love the beach, amusement parks, dancing, shopping, and of course being with my boys and Mike.

We also have a puppy Cookie who is a Bichon Frise. She is 6 months old.

Glad I found this board filled with other hair junkies who love playing with their hair as much as I do.

Hi, my name is Metalgirl (aka Lisa) and I am also a hair-a-holic!

I live in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains on 6 acres. I have no human children, but do have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 bird, and 2 donkeys. I am married to a metal musician (drummer) and have been with him for 9 years.

I have been a licensed stylist for 14 years, and I also have a bachelor's degree in Marketing.

I work like a maniac, many hours a week, mostly doing extensions, but also a lot of color work too. In my free time, I play with my animals, design and sew my own clothes, and do mosaic tile art.

I am currently working on opening my own specialty hair extension salon.

I have a nephew who is about to turn 6. He is the sunshine of my life. HE is autistic though you would never know it. HE has been on special diets (he was gluten and casein, soy and egg free but now he is on a specific carbohydrate diet, though he is still free of those aforementioned foods...) and all kinds of therapies and is doing amazing. He calls me Aunt Sweetie, and so therefore he is PERFECT HAHAHAHA. Unfortunately he is moving away to NJ :(. He has a webpage too, though it DESPERATELY needs to be updated. Otherwise, I am a singer. I just finished 5 years in a few Modern Rock Cover Bands. the last being www.mtmxrocks.comas the lead singer. I WISH I DID EXTENSIONS THEN!!!! I am currently looking for another similar gig or a punk original project.

The perfect man. (ok [/sappiness]) anyway, we have been married for 3 years, we have 2 kids. About to turn 9 and 2.

Ok Im 42, married 18 years and I have a 16 year old daughter and 14 year old son. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and an alcoholic brother in law that moved in with us last October(ugh)...oh yeah and IMA HAIR ADDICT!! Right now Im a full time student, graduating Fall of 2005 in computers. My name is Maggi, and I live in the "OC" in California. I've been married for four years to my best friend. We have no kids, but two beautiful Doberman Pinscers, and two sweet kittys. I got my cosmetology license in 1980, and have been doing hair in salons ever since. About a year ago I took some classes and started doing hair extensions in the salon. I have grown to love all of the cool, fun, truly transformative things that can be done with extensions. One of my first hair extension clients was a girl who's hair had thinned due to some medication she was taking. When she saw herself in the mirror after her install she started to cry, because she was so happy to have full beautiful hair again. She's now on her third set of extensions and just loving them. It was truly a heartwarming experience for me to be able to help her feel better about herself.
My other passions in life are yoga, tattoo collecting, cooking, wine tasting, and soul searching. I'm grateful that I stumbled upon this message board, and want to thank all of you for sharing your wisdom and knowledge in such an open friendly way.

Yay, picture time! My name is actually Janene, but the whole Leia thing started in elementary school....I had waist-length hair that my mom made me wear in two braids everyday, so the girls thought it was fun to twist the braids up into big Princess Leia buns.

I'm 25 and have been messing with my hair since I was about 15 (Sun-In is eeeevil!). I have B.A.s in communication and music, and yet I haven't been able to get a full-time job in the 2.5 years I've been out of school. I'm also certified in radio broadcasting, and that's where I met my boyfriend, who is the music director of my old station.



That's the two of us on our first anniversary back in October (where he really needed a haircut). I live with my parents, brother, two cats, and a dog. I can't yet afford to move out, but once I get a "real" job, my bf and I will get our own place.

I also used to be in a few bands (couldn't find any good pics, though). I played keyboards in a punk band...that was fun. Here is a pic of me singing at the Alameda County Fair last summer (the hair is fake, and the outfit mostly home-made).

Hi I'm Amanda I'm 30 and I live in Nottinghamshire in the UK with my toyboy fiancee Dean (22) whom I am getting married to in Cancun in April this year. We live with our cat midnight and four rescue dogs called Kimi, Isaac, Bruno and Marcus who are all Lhasa Apsos and are all adoreably cute. I work as a full-time Legal Secretary at a small Law Firm and am a mobile extensionist evenings and weekends and I also do nails. I really love doing extensions and get great job satisfaction out of putting a smile on a client's face, that's what its all about for me. I hope to go back to work part-time and do extensions part-time also when I've had my first baby xxxxx The picture is Christmas just gone xx
