At her concert in OKC at Frontier City the radio station KJ103 asked her what the deal was with her brown hair, if it was an over the counter thing...and she said yes, that she wanted to change it, b/c when she was on 7th heaven she couldnt dye her hair, she had to stay blonde......she wanted something different
dude shes looks nice either way... you think shes not attractive i think its pure jealousy because shes beautiful and i think shes really pretty as a brunette... thats wrong of you to judge her any ways she is who she wants to be so let her be ... shes juss bein herself so for any of yous to judge her lyk that is just wrong!! let her be!!
Hi Everybody! What's up? I personally think that Ashlee Simpson is a very pretty girl and could easily pull of being blonde or brunette. Either suits her very nicely. I was going through this message board trying to find exactly what hair product Ashlee used by Clairol to get that dark brown/black color, cuz I would like to do the same to mine. There's about 5 different types of products in Clairol, each with their own shades of colors. So if anyone ever finds out the specific product, please email me at Kalencandy2486@aol.com I would greatly appreciate it. And if I find anything out, I'll definately let you guys know! Thanxx alot! I don't know what specific Clairol product she used but I know they showed her dying her hair on her MTV show "Ashlee" and if you look closely maybe you can tell from the applicator at least which line it's from. Like, if it was Nice N' Easy or Hydrience, you maybe able to choose one of the dark brown shades in that line. I don't know what the big secret is anyhow, I mean, if she's going to tell people that she used Clairol, why not go the extra distance and just say which one, because I'm sure there are other people who are curious, even if they don't want to dye their hair that color.
I also think that Ashlee Simpson was a beautiful girl, with blonde hair. But now with her darker hair color, I think it looks better. The darker the better.
hey i really like ashlee simpson..i think she looks good blonde and brunette..she is a really pretty girl no matter what!! she is my idol and also i know why she dyed her hair..she did it for the icebreakers and she wanted to have a change..im goin to do the same cause being blonde sometimes gets really boring!! i like her sis too..jessica should NEVER go brunette..i bought ashlees cd and it rocks..10stars...so whoever doesnt like her hair..poey on you!! lol jk!! so ashlee do ya thing and stay brown cause i love it..hehe bye bye yall!!
I love Ashlee Simpson''s dark locks. They really set her apart from her sister and add to that rocker girl image that I''m sure she''s been honing to go along with her new career. She''s definitely very very dark now, but she was did initially just go brown so I can see why people may have posted that they like her "brown" hair, because at first it was just brown, then she had a dark chocolate brown, and now it''s seemed to have deepened even more into a blackish shade. I think it was smart of her to go dark in stages (as dark as she is now I mean) because it would have been treacherous for her hair to go from platinum blonde to black in one fell swoop. Plus, she probably would have experienced that initial shock that anyone who has drastically changed their color has experienced, not to say that it wasn''t a shock for her to go brown after being so light, but to have gone black, now that would have taken some getting used to on her part and the part of her fans. All in all, I think she wears it well, and as a girl with raven black hair it''s always nice to see that people aren''t so afraid of dark hair.
As many of you know, she IS an aspiring singer. I guess the look she is going for is a 'punk' or 'retro' look. I do not think she is going to die it back blonde. And as of two weeks ago her hair was very short, like neck length, it looked like a boys haircut.
If any of you have aol you could watch her archive of her live concert she did a week or two back and you can see her hair is MUCH different from her long wavy dark look. It's now straight and limp and boyish. I do like her better as a brunette though.

I think that the dark hair makes her look a lot slimmer - I think her hair looked good in the LaLa video (short and straight) but I HATE when its long and curly. It totally looks mullet-y. Gross. She needs to grow out her hair and have a little less bangs and make her bangs more side-swept. What do you think??
