Both of them cut their hair to a short-medium length, which was widely decried as a bad move. However, it wasn't until both went to much shorter, less unflattering cuts that it became apparent that the medium length cuts were actually pretty darn cute. The initial shock of the major change (especially if you liked the previous style a great deal) will preclude any objective look at how flattering the new style is in and of itself. In other words, if Hunter goes even shorter, you'll wonder why she didn't keep that cute flippy bob...even while hoping she'll follow Sheryl's lead and grow it all back out. JF
