Hey there Amm, I think the regular shrinkies are fine, they aren't any longer or shorter than the docs. If I bought your extended ones I'd probably cut them in half for the sides of the hair to be honest he he xx

Actually I have some Bohyme on order. I must confess. I CANNOT COME TO
TERMS with synth hair around my face. I've tried it all -- except AD
that is -- but old habits die hard!!
So I bit the bullet and ordered some and am trying to decide if I want
to do fusion (using Kristin's Keratin) or shrinkies with it around my
face. What are you tipping with?
Oh right LOL, fusion ha ha. I'm tipping with the household glue and so far so good, I've let it dry overnight and tested it with shrinkies and it comes out how it goes in, it reminds me of the finished nail glue tip but its one step. There's no residue left in the hair and it cuts the tipping down to half. I've got extentubes in the back which I love and shrinkies cut in half in the sides and over the weekend I installed some of kristen's fusion. I pre-tipped the hair first with fusion and its holding up brilliant. I tested three whilst on holiday of Kristen's fusion. They are still in but one I have to admit came out with my hair attached to it. It did feel uncomfortable though but there was nothing I could do while I was in Mexico xxx

You guys, I was gonna do the 'docs new weft method' next.
Now its going tohave to be that with lots of amm shrinkies at teh crown
and around my face...
Which probably I should do anyhow.
But I'm going back to straight hair at least for a while...
Help! I still can't figure out how to get my pretip, my hair and the shrinkie together. I did try slicing the shrinkie and then wrapping it around the pretip placed in back of my real hair, but I only tried a couple and it was difficult even that way. I've been reading my butt off, totally enjoying it, stocking up on supplies that were recommended, but can't thread the hair with the shrinkie. I've read the tutorials so I guess it's just me. Any suggestions? Thanx for all of everyones suggestions and pictures, total pajama party. E.

Chuck that hook dealie and get a piece of wire. That is by FAR the easiest. I think Kristin has a tutorial on it...I think.
Not to jack this thread...but Fina, you'll love the x-10 from Kristin. I didn't realize how superb it was till I played around with some junk keratin.
I agree, Gina. It's much much better than those waxy sticks that deteriorate in your hair almost immediately. That X10 fusion is excellent, and you use so much less of it than the other.
Edit: oops. This is a shrinkie thread. Fusion topic over. I wish I could comment on amm's new shrinkies - I even have them sitting here - but haven't put any in yet (Rose has my heat wand - and that's okay; no hurry).
