Yep, 67 inches, per the George Michael methodology of placing a measuring tape at the forehead and going back over the top of the head and down to the tips. (and my tips are quite thin.)
I am hoping to be able to upload & post a small avatar photo soon. Might give just a bit of an idea how my hair looks.
Thanks for the kind words.

DaveDecker...oh my goodness...are you serious about your hair being 67 inches long? If so...how long did it take your hair to grow that length? I'am awestruck!!!!

Hi all! My hair is about 30 inches long. So at around 6 foot tall it is about 3/4's of the way down my back! And I have been growing it for years! And to the girls that that have their photo in their post, your hair is lovely! My hair is about the same colour! I get high lights so I'm quite blonde at the ends. My nat colour is starting to go darker. Love the site! Love my long hair! Hehe! Caill

Can someone explain the forehead method please? Thanks!
Hi Elissa!
Take the tape measure and place the "zero" at the hairline of your forehead at the point where you have (or would have) a center part. From there, go back over the top/crown of your head, and from there to the ends. Sure, it adds about 6 inches, more or less to the actual length of the longest strands on your head, but it does give a reference point from which to get consistent and comparable measurements for hair length.
I've never measured my hair before! Since it's in layers, I thought the best way to try this would be to just simply measure the back of my hair in a straight line from bottom to top (but not extending up to the crown/very top of my head. I got 22 inches like that.
Can someone explain the forehead method please? Thanks!
