I've pm'd her about that thread Kimberly, with no response yet. I'm guessing she's busy with work or something that keeps her away from her computer. Hard to be patient though.

I've got so many hair things going on right now and I have spent a small fortune on my various experiments !
Anyway I wanted to clarify some things with the supplier regarding the lighter colors. He sent me a lot of samples, but only single drawn in the lighter colors. Turns out that double drawn in lighter colors is 40% higher.
So I'm back to my original premise, which is that if you can color the hair yourself and feel confident doing that, it's the best way to go. Personally I thought the first bleaching I did (in the oven) turned out great. The hair is *very* resistant, though, and subsequent experiments with lower volume peroxide and no heat haven't yielded better results. I've gotten access to some really high-quality hair colors (from Paul Mitchell) and am working with a professional but these coloring experiments take lots-o-time!
I don't want to sell anything to anyone that I'm not 100% confident in. The hair that I put in is wearing *really well* -- I can say that! If we have enough people to put together an order for a kilo of the Virgin Double Drawn Wefted hair, I'll be happy to do that.
I've been in the import business for a while and I know that there are samples, then there are orders. Sometimes they're the same, sometimes they're not. I feel as confident in this company as I do with any company I first start working with -- but there are always risks unfortunately. My preference is for me to buy the first order and only sell it if it's as high quality as the samples. However I'm a bit low on cash right now so I haven't placed the order.
If there are enough of us to split the cost I'll be happy to place the order now and we can all experiment with it.
Whaddaya think? Just let me know. I'll repost the prices in this thread.

I know I said I was in before, but right now I'm working this synth thing and don't have a need for hh at this time, and God knows I have a stockpile as is. So I'm going to take a pass this time. Thanks Fina - just wanted to let you know.
Fina, I am in for trying this hair. Was wondering though - should we go for maybe the 20-21 just in case there are splits? With the bliss hair I had to cut about 5-6 inches off because of split ends.

I really want to be in, but I don't wear human myself, so I'd have to
have a need for the hair. If we got the longest length, I would
-definitely- have a client for it (especially if you can order it in
#8ish, if that doesn't complicate things), and would totally be in. If
we went for 18", I would probably be in.
OK y'all. I think we have enough for an order here. I'll place it tomorrow and will send you your pieces of it when it gets here; most likely end of this week.
Let's get the 20-21", Virgin, Wefted, Double Drawn. Here are the takers:
Elvira: 4 oz. ($49) Mochachip: 8 oz. ($98) Kimbearly: 4 oz. or 8 oz.? ($49 or $98) Sherrie: 8 oz. ($98) Sansconformist: 4 oz. ($49 - pd) Rae: Anything? Of Course me too: Whatever is left.
I will be bleaching and tipping mine, as well as doing a zillion color experiments.
All - I'll send you the paypal info.
-Fina

natural body. They call it "straight". But it's not stick straight or anything. There's a pic in my other post. Their "wavy" is really over-the-top wavy and their curly is like certain body hair I won't mention.

that's what I thought. I was looking at extensions-plus hair this
week too and balking at the markup for pretipping... and their
'natural body' i'e unprocessed for texture is perfect.

Ya know, in fact, the hair has *quite a bit* of body. I have side by side on my head right now, this Indian hair, along with the "straight" Extensions-Plus. The Indian Hair has *A LOT* more body.

Well, the EP hair that I have -- the Softwear -- is *lovely* -- but it does have "Made in China" all over it (on the labeling etc.).
So, I think that the EP hair is more naturally *straight* -- believe me it can be curled -- but the Indian hair just HOLDS a curl a lot longer if you curl it.
I am so excited :O) I am ordering the 4 oz BTW. If the synth thing does not work with me I will have this hair on the side since the Bliss I am wearing now has almost had it's day. The Bliss hair that I am wearing is the natural straght and I love the way it holds it's curl. It is very easy to take care of too because the curl is natural so all you do is wash, condition and let air dry. The only draw back is virgin Indian hair is very expensive so Thank you Fina Fina for doing this for us.
