After you shower dry your hair and add some soap to your hair like the bar of soap kind of soap (i know sounds stupid but works!) spread evenly. Then brush in directions, i know theres white stuff in your hair but you can always cover that up. Do this daily once for a week and by a week your waves will be siiiiiiiiick and grooved more then a mutha. Guaranteed! This works by drying out your hair causing it to shrivel up and get that wavy look. No lie baby no lie.
yo yidnek your remedy may sound stupid but that sh*t works i can see it sh*t spinning, does the soap have to be wet or dry, holla back

Hell No I would never wash my hair with soap washing your hair with soap will make your hair fallout cuz they are getting no moisture.Thats why shampoo was invented.

Once u think u got the waves and want to get a cut. Do u tell the barber to cut against the grain or wit it. In other words does he cut the top in the same direction you would brush it?

I've tried gettin a #2 cut wit da grain but my hair is laid down so flat from brushin the machine wont cut nothin. The only way to get it is without a clip and even then instead of it bein bald it looks like a #1. Wat should I do?

How long has yo hair been growin out? You prolly should wait 4-5 weeks before a #2 can cut anything.

I'm baack!! I finally got my waves and it's been about 2 months. What I did was wash my hair every 2 to 3 days, put in some pink lotion and Wax & Dax, then brush my hair for about 3 to 5 minutes. After that I just put on my wave cap and waited 30 minutes for my hair to dry, then brush it again. And in no time I finally got my waves. I never really used a hot towel cause I didn't know what it was for.
I just came back to thank yall. My sh**t is finally spinning.

Yeah.I used to have real good waves but then i grew my hair out and after i cut it took me a while to get them back but once i did get them back, i stopped takin care of them so now they like "still waters" So now im on the way to gettin them back but its a long process. Oh yeah it seems that when i use a hard brush it just straighten my hair so i use a soft brush and that seem to give me waves better.Questions/comments?
