When you come out of the shower leave your hair a little wet and then put some PINK LOTION MOISTURIZER.....b4 I carry on, I would like to mention that your hair should be short (about 1/5 of an inch) and then brush it forwards ON TOP for about a min or two. Then apply wither Murray's, Luster's 360.... or whatever pomade you have and carry on brushing. (Use a hard brush) After that put on your du-rag or wave-cap and you should see some waves in no time. Well, that worked for me and I only started yesterday evening !!! (Oct 16th)

what up, i just got a haircut the day before and i shampoo and moisturized my hair. I then brushed my hair (from the circle in the middle to all directions outward for about 30 minutes with the hard side of the fade brush. I then put dax wave and groom in my head and brushed for another 30 minutes and put my durag on, i did this last night and woke up at 12 today and took off the durag and saw nothing. So right now im still brushing, about every 15 minutes for 15 minutes and thats it. Before i do anything drastic i would like to know how often i should put the wave grease in, wash hair, keep the durag on, and how long it would take before i see results? Good Lookin

Yeah.I used to have real good waves but then i grew my hair out and after i cut it took me a while to get them back but once i did get them back, i stopped takin care of them so now they like "still waters" So now im on the way to gettin them back but its a long process. Oh yeah it seems that when i use a hard brush it just straighten my hair so i use a soft brush and that seem to give me waves better.Questions/comments?

I'm baack!! I finally got my waves and it's been about 2 months. What I did was wash my hair every 2 to 3 days, put in some pink lotion and Wax & Dax, then brush my hair for about 3 to 5 minutes. After that I just put on my wave cap and waited 30 minutes for my hair to dry, then brush it again. And in no time I finally got my waves. I never really used a hot towel cause I didn't know what it was for. I just came back to thank yall. My sh**t is finally spinning.

I've tried gettin a #2 cut wit da grain but my hair is laid down so flat from brushin the machine wont cut nothin. The only way to get it is without a clip and even then instead of it bein bald it looks like a #1. Wat should I do?
How long has yo hair been growin out? You prolly should wait 4-5 weeks before a #2 can cut anything.
