Tangles- did you use a topcoat over them first? I was thinking that too Sherrie- that's why I put the top coat of Aleen's on first--in case the "supposed " beeswax would melt. But now I see I should have put nail glue over even THAT or no Aleen's at all! If in fact, Hairlocs DOES use just beeswaxand Tangles...you said there were no problems-- we may be on to something here! ...However, I wouldnt expect Hairlocs to expose the WHOLE truth about what they use, ya know?? (like maybe beeswax MIXED with something else, perhaps?)

maybe hairlocs has some beeswax in their pretipping formula, but I cant see it being a 100% beeswax tip. But I could be wrong, it just doesnt seem like it would work to me???

Im thinking it would melt all over the hair with the heat of the wand. And I really cant see it being very durable at all, would probably shed like crazy!

Sorry if it has been talked about before. I looked and didnt see it so....but has anyone tried Beeswax to do pre-tips with? That is what Hairlocs SAYS they use on their pre-tips. You can buy it in big solid blocks that you would melt down. I am wondering if it would transfer to the hair under shrinkies. Anyone?
