Thank you Kirsty. I loove curls to. I have never heard of a law saying that you have to have a licens to do extensions here in Denmark. We do not have as strict laws in Denmark that you have in USA. I tell all the people that email og phone me that I am not a proffesional hairdresser, but because of the cheap prices I have, most of them don�t care . I tell them that I am in a process off getting better, so they are aware of what they do before they put themself in my chair.
I'd suggest being neater on those sections as all those (what look to be) travelling hairs are going to get caught up and pull

I have just read in here that I can use a light waterspray to help those tiny hairs in place. I wil use this in the future. Thank you for your feedback, I actually thought that my sections were ok, but I will try harder .

I'm sorry if this is offensive but those extensions look HORRIBLE. They don't blend well at all and, personally, I would have never even put them in her hair. Clearly her hair is not in good shape. Sorry but I think they are the worst extensions I have ever seen.

Well newhair....as Synne said in the original post she didnt have a chance to work with it anymore becuase the girl had a long train ride home. So what you are seeing is the immediately after photo...where no cutting, no blending or styling has been done to the hair. As everone knows its the razoring and styling that makes the extensions blend...it just dont happen all by itself! And after washing the extensions 'fluff' up so to speak and the extension hair doesnt seem so 'flat'.
Most of us who get extension doesnt have 'nice' hair to begin with....I know my hair certainly is crappy, thats why I have extensions!
Honestly, the photo looks similar to my own installs before cutting, blending, styling, washing.

Synne, ignore it. Sadly, some people don't realize that you guys have to
work with not so perfect clients.
As with probably 90% of people on this board, we have damaged hair,
that looked like crap, and that's why we got extensions.
My case, any stylist I went to gave me the "we can't do anything your hair
is horrible" they wanted to chop it all off!! Now, it's growing faster and
healthy as ever and when I have my extensions out and I go to the same
places, they tell my how wonderful my hair looks! Not always horrible to
do extensions on damaged hair. It may help her in the future like it
helped me, and it's a challenge that proves how wonderful you are.
Anyways, I think it looks wonderful, especially considering how her hair
looked before and that she rushed you and didn't give you the time to
razor it and blend it!

Well, that was not well said , but like Sherrie said she was limited on what she was allowed to do. My first install to me could have been better, and my second also. But I kept pictures for myself so that I could see where my improvement needed to be. Remember there is a way to say everything and the way you said it was hurtful.Welcome to the board.
Well I know Im not at all perfect yet, but I have seen anough angry people in my life to let something like this pass. I am open to criticism and improvement, and listen to your advise, but this comment I just ignore. It has nothing but bad carma written all over it.

Yes it IS important and weary good to go to classes! and get training! but it is entirly to create beautiful hair without being a proffesional!
Synne and the rest of us have learned SOOO much at this board, and will continue too, and we will improve our skills and gett better and better!^_^ Its not rocket sience this hair ting:P
But i se no reason to be so rude, i se that you can be conserned that we maby destroy peoples hair because you think that we are undereducated O.o, but i would let any of these girls do my hair! They know theyre sh*t!:D
