I really don't get it at all.  Why would people waste time being mean?  Trolls have been defined by the basic Internet world to be similar to cowards.  The trolls "hide" behind various handles and then lob nasty word attacks at innocent people.  They delight in starting flame wars and disrupting a friendly thread  It gives them power.

I see this happen with emails to HB.com all the time.  People with hotmail and other anonymous mail accounts (except there are now ways to track threats from anonymous email accounts via the ISPs) will send really vicious emails attacking all sorts of things.  But when HB challenges them to send us a way to get in touch with them to try and resolve their complaints, they run and hide.  Obviously cowards.  They could never say the things that they say via email or on the message boards in person. 

Our only defense is to delete them, block them and wipe any reminder of their existence off the boards.

Thanks to everyone that sends in reports.  That helps me & the admin team catch these things quickly.

Unfortunately when fighting breaks out, some posts that are not necessarily hostile or inappropriate may get deleted because they are embedded in the middle of other posts that need to be deleted for those reasons. 

Also, sometimes it is impossible to delete one post without losing the entire "thread".  So posts may be deleted as a result of deleting an entire topic direction. 

Finally, some posts are deleted when the offending party has been banned or deleted but someone continues to post about the topic....in essence trying to keep the pot stirred.  :-)

We just try to keep things calm, peaceful and friendly and thus sometimes posts may get wiped and are "Friendly Fire" victims.

I am not a troll. I have been getting hair extensions for quite some time and I've seen hundreds of them. These extensions are AWFUL and they should not even be done by some careless person who works out of her home with no certification. I thought this board was for mature discussions, if you can't handle it, ban me. I'll find another board where honesty is welcome. I stand by what I said, those extensions look like crap. But who knows? Maybe all of you people have bad extensions. Judging from the cheap methods you use, I wouldn't doubt it. Don't bother to reply, I will not be back. I prefer to speak with adults who can afford real hair extensions rather than half @ss cheap ones. Good day all!
