wawa thermal vs kanekalon - longevitity?

Hi ladies

I have only tried long extensions once before with synthetic

though they looked great I got less than one week out of them before I cut them short due to tangling

I was plaiting the hair at night etc but they werejust tangling uncontrollably.

I cannot imagine how they would last anyone a few weeks.

The hair came from a sepia synthetic wig (brand new) that I cut into wefts and attached with micro links

I am thinking about trying synthetic again, with wawa thermal

However I wanted to get an opinion on how they last first


do the thermal fibres last longer than standard synthetic kanekalon?  I dont want to liquid gold these in and end up with a matted messafter one week

Is there some secret I am missing as to detangling?

I tried various conditioners, silicones, and fabric softener, found short synthetic lasted really well, but anything beyond my shoulders got frizzy on the ends really fast, and below my bra line tangled very easily no matter how careful i was

someone tell me the thermal fibres last longer than a week????



Please note - i have nev er tried specific synthetic extension hair wefts - but i thought that stardard extensions from synthetic hair were also made of kanekalon?

There are different kinds of Kanekelon, different grades of quality. Kanekelon is just the brand name for what is essentially just a modacrylic fiber. But they have different formulas- and Sepia wigs are cheap for a reason.
