I will get it out and take some for you. Now that I've been doing the long extensions, I haven't worn it for a little bit. I'll see if I can post some in the morning.
Oh, I am so sorry to hear that! I have a lacefront wig and you cannot go wrong. It's undetectable and I'm able to do whatever I want with it. Good luck, let us know.
Wow girl.. I'm REALLY sorry to hear that.. A lacefront is a good option as far as giving you a very natural look.. and yes you can (with the right adhesive) "shower/swim/workout-sweat". These little gems are really AMAZING.. I helped a friend a few months back with an install and I was in AWE of how natural these wigs look when applied correctly.. Honestly there is more information on lacefront wigs on BHM than this forum.. (BHM has a VERY active lacefront section with LOTS od knowledgeable ladies and pics and everything)
I'll put together a list of threads and links I think might be helpful.. (same stuff I sent to my friend before we did her application) I think Metalgirl has bought some lacefront wigs too, and maybe she might be able to give you some insight too..

see the problem is..all my hair on my sides are fine..its just the back that is soo bad...he was like I wish i could even cut your hair short inthe back and do a pixie hair cut...but he said he wouldnt even be able to do that..he tried to cut my hair..and it woudlnt even cut...its that rubbery/sticky...the back has the be shaved :-( I am gonna wait a couple more days and see if I leave it alone for a couple days if hopefully it willg et better...we will see...ill def keep ya updated especially if it gets better..so other people who get in my dilema have some luck :-) I have been looking into the lacefront..because I woudlnt even be able to do the pinchbraid..its THAT bad..ill take pics tonight to show yall...I would like it to stay longer ya know..but then i am confuesd on how your own hair gets washed and stuff..and if it gets nasty and ruined and stuff under the wig...if i apply it with an adhesive..which i would love to do..cuz i was reading and they have full lace front wigs..and if u apply with adhesive after 24 hrs u can shower/swim/workout-sweat..and that really makes me happy i can have hair and do all those things!! haha and then you can wearit in a pony tail too....soo lets hope for the best today..i was even hoping the back would be somewhat decent to do clip ins or protac..but its soo NASTY..i def am going to take pics to show yall....ok thanks..and if u can find anymore info on lacefront wigs..id love it..especially with wearing them nonstop with adhesive and not taken off for a couple weeks...thanks!
That's a brilliant idea. I know Beyonce and Tyra Banks rock them all the time, and they're some of the hottest girls in show biz. I wonder how much average wear you can get from those before a reapp.
It depends on the adhesive and the persons own individual body chemistry. Not all adhesives work for all women.. I know some ladies who have reported up to a month's hold from their adhesives..

There is another option for you.. If you really have to shave your head, you could wear a lacefront wig. It can give you a VERY natural look while you wait for your hair to grow back..

Bella makes a good point too, this way if you decide to do lace front, you can still do it over top of the shorter hair, or if you decide you want to pinchbraid it (like Jenny does I think), you have that option available too.

So sorry about all that! This is terrible Divavocal is right, maybe a lace front wig would be a good option for you, there was a little thread with a video about lacefront wig, on this forum, it was very interesting and the results were really nice! You should make a quick search to find it out

I'm really sorry about your hair! I did the same thing 3 weeks ago, I call it cotton candy hair, sticky and never dries. Trust me, you don't need to cut it all off. It needs to be babied and really well taken care of, probably a little cut for the ends, this will get better!!

The damage lies most likely in the processing time(ie how long you left the solution on, or not rinsing either the wave or the neutralizer out well enough, porosity level of the hair, choice of perm...I could go on 4ever)
Perming bleached hair is always risky to say the least.
As another member mentioned...stay clear of the proteins.
Deep conditioner will "help" but it's not going to undo the damage. Be VERY gentle while combing your hair when wet(that is when its most fragile and likely to break)
