The "double r" started out as a great idea, but know it's dishelved.  It moves too fast and it's too random.  Maybe, it's useful lifespan is expiring?

Yes...agreed.  That is one of the features.

Yes...this is one of the limitations we don't like. Our new box will have unlimited shouts.

No...it does not increase post count AND unless you do a screen capture you can not keep the shouts.
 
Also...Andrew and Thomas have been looking at the new Shoutbox and don't like how limited it is.  As a result, they are going to write their own from HB.com and I told them to include cool skins and other options this current box limits.
 
One thing...it will require that you log in.  Right now, anyone can shout.  They promised to have the new improved shoutbox up by the end of the week.  We will see how that goes but I promise we will come up with something better.
 
In the meantime if you have suggestions on how to make it better, please post or bmail me.
 
We will keep the current shoutbox up until the new one is ready and it will be a custom design.  So let me know so I can pass it on to Andrew.
