This is a noob question ,but it has always been on my mind. Ok, this is my first time wolfing( its my 3rd week) and im using a medium brush now.(thanks for the responds to my earlier message)All my hair that was layed down from brushing with a soft brush comes up to reveal a small afro. Does that mean the brush is too hard or does it mean that it is working?

That happens 2 everyone. I 4got who said it, but a softy pushes your hair and a medium and a hard brush pulls it. So the harder the brush the stronger the pull I guess. I guess when your hair recoils from being pulled it lifts up of your scalp some. When I take of my durag I brush with a softy or I dont brush at all to avoid my hair sticking up. You're not doing anything wrong.

We really aren't fans of wavebuilder over here. I think S.C. King or S.C. Prettyboy posted something about Barber select products a while back

I think average is a #2 guard. u could try that out 2 b on the safe side.

Wait it also depends on yo texture. Post those pics first then u can get a better estimate.
