Thanx Malibu. So, I guess I would have to say I have wavy hair..?..Which I usually blow dry straight. Its a pretty unusual length bc the clip ons made some hairs break/ fall out, so the top hair goes to like right under my ears, and the bottom is below my neck. (I know....sounds like a mullet, but I swear its not!! hahah ). Smile
I feel like I would be better off w/ weft also, because volume is definately what I need...and thats why I felt  the clip ons just may always look better bc its a whole lotta hair. What type of hair do you get.... and from where...and how much is it?? And can you re-use the hair when you sew? I've been reading about Bohyme and So-Cap...these are both types of hair I believe. Ok, I know alot of questions...thanx!! I need a hairapist!! hahah.

Oh you don't want to be bald when you take them out? Well hmmm. Not too sure what to tell you.LOL (just kidding)

I have fine hair and I do the sew in method. I did clip ins for a year and thought it was the safest way but they are SO annoying!! Anyway, the sew in is soooo comfortable and I'm watching my own hair grow now that I'm not abusing it.

Is your hair curly or straight? I bought my own hair and I bring it to the braider. I pay $25 per track and I get two tracks.

This is my method of choice because I'm not too comfortable with the thought of glue but many people here love the tapes or the liquid gold (which is glue).

Some people here do their own individuals. I tried that a few times but the weft method give a lot more volume and coverage.

Do you have a picture of your hair? It will give us a better idea of what you're starting with.

Ok, so....I've done some browsing thru the forums, and I'm officially WAY more confused then when I started Cry...That being said...I'm lookin for some insight.

I have VERY thin/fine hair, and it has never been able to grow pretty much past my shoulders. I have never had real hair extensions, but a couple months ago I bought clip-on human hair, and absolutely loved them. (I FINALLY had hair!!!!) However, they really hurt the sides of my head, and have pulled out so much hair, that I'm ready to bit the $$ bullet move on to the real thing.

I'm wondering what is the best method for my type of hair, and what hair I should buy. Also, do you normally buy the hair seperate from the person who installs it? I want something reasonable in price (maybe $1G), but most importantly I dont want to be bald after 6 months, when i get them removed.

Also...if anyone knows someone to refer me to in the Fort Lauderdale/ Miami area....that would be great too!!!
