****WARNING**** DO not wash your hair after getting a cut especially if it's lower than a #2 instead take a paper towel with some rubbing alcohol and clean off your hairline so you don't possibly breakout, water shrinks the hair so if your waves are light then after you wash your hair your waves will be almost non-existent/ or loss of definition, so I wouldn't recommend letting water hit the hair for at the least 4 days, and be careful brushing it especially with people who have similar texture to myself.
See I warned about this. Your waves are still hitting hard though even though you lost some visibility.
looks like we in the same boat, the update i had was right when i got done cuttin my hair, it's been 3 days and the visibility with my waves is low like yours. i'm just hoping they don't vanish completely or i'ma have to drop out of the battles i'm having in march

I thought if you have been waving for a long time and your pattern was down your waves wouldn't vanish when you washed your hair.I went to the barber shop and got my hair cut against the grain which is two things I haven't done in a long time. The barber got finished cutting my hair passed me the mirror and I'm thinking "Oh hell yeah he go be my permanent barber".The cut was low but the visibilty of my waves was the best I'd remember ever seeing them.I got home hopped in the shower and as usual the appearance of my waves had weakened. Its four days later and they're not back to how they usually look.
These are the after wash pics.I would of had before pics but I had planned on taking a shower then doing a regular update.
