Snoods!

We found an entire book of 40`s hairstyles at Amazon.com by Daniela Turudich. The reviews and the sample pages on it looked very interesting. It has diagrams instead of pictures (I usually do better with pictures) but it seems to have what we are looking for. It has chapters on Formal Styles & Up-Dos, Accessories (including snoods), and a Where To Find Beauty Supplies appendix. I don`t have it yet - it just shipped - but when I get it, I`ll let you know what I think of it. At $12.76, I won`t get badly burned. :)

I love the look of 40`s hair.I work in the film industry and the 40`s is the most fun to do for me. A lot of times I make my own things. You can pick up some hairnets for a dollar each and dress them up with rinestones. I see some people wearing snoods now,it`s mostly the hip hop crowd. I love the look on them too. Any one want to talk about retro?
