3 Month Update...
It's been 3 months since I cut my hair short and cut off the dye. Here is what my hair looked like before...
And here is what it looks like now...
Here is my hair in a half up with my favorite flexi-8...
I'm happy with the growth I have gotten so far, I can't wait to see what the next 3 months brings!!!
I have been washing my hair twice a week with Herbal Essence Hello Hydration S&C. I use a drop of biosilk for shine. Mostly I'm just letting my hair grow, with no plans on trimming for a while! I'm at 17" now and am looking forward to getting back to at least 20". That was when my hair started to feel long.

Shocking growth for two months. I think your hair *wants* to be long, Paper, and is stealthily quickening the process. Lookin' good. Bob

Thanks Jenn! It is nice to just be growing my hair and not trying to grow out dye the same time! That little bit of dye will be gone at my next trim. Yay!

Look at you growing girl! That's awesome!
Your half-ups look pretty too. There's soooo little dye left, it's negligible really. You will be rid of that in no time.

Length shot for Jan. 10
Here's another picture of my hair in a half up. I'm so excited I can still wear my hair like this! You can really see all my colors in this shot. That little bit of dye left doesn't bother me at all!
Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Yes, that is true! I am excited to start over. I have a good starting point too. It's all 1 color, (99%) and my bangs are layered into to the rest of my hair. So, it should be an easy hair cut to just let it grow!

Thanks Mike, Bob & Jenn for your nice comments!
When I scroll back and look at my pictures with the 2 tone, it makes me cringe! This was the right decision for me. I am so excited about having the dye gone I haven't thought about whats next LOL. I do have a tiny bit of dye left. I want to get some length before trimming that off. By this time next yr I should be on my way to APL!

I-LOVE-IT! Just think, now your hair will be free of dye and you can grow as much as you wish!
