RE-Megan,Thanks for your reply amazing how us hairdressers even retired like us!, can fix everyone's hair but our own!, over the past 3 years if you want a light brown demi as in a 5.0 you are safer getting a 6.0 or a7.0, let me know if you have noticed this as I don't like to think I'm going colour blind!!Best Wishes Simone.C.I don't know about that because my hair did the exact> same thing. At least its good to know I'm not the only> one.

>Dear Robin,Yes I am a qualified haidresser, the only reason I did not mention a Bleach Bath (1 scoop to 120mls of 5% peroxide with a dash of K-Pack) is because I use Proffesional Demi's only !this method will fade a demi but as we all know bleach is the most potentially of all to damage hair, so I say when in doubt go to a salon that Specializes in corrective colour.thanks for input, Simone.C.Regarding the demi color, try a soap cap... 1 scoop of> bleach a tablespoon of shampoo(or so warm to hot water> the warm water acts as a catlist for the bleach, the> shampoo helps to give some consistincy to work with.> Than watch the color fade to the shade you desire.

I second Denise's response to the soap cap if you are going to do this at home .. I have been in the same situation before. You could also go to an Aveda Concept Salon were they have a few different "potions" to remove color. Conditoning while bleaching is important !! Good luck !
