Hey, Does anyone know, did Ashlee Simpson dye her hair brown just for that new buffalo chicken pizza commercial for Pizza Hut or is this a new look? Only wondering because I wasn't sure if they just wanted her to look different from Jessica or if this is a permanent thing. Thanks.
I do not like the brown hair on Ashlee. I think she needs a new style. Her hair is so fine and limp. It needs some body to it. Sometimes it looks almost like a mullet.
I take it back... Now that I've gotten used to seeing her on TV w/ the brown I think it looks good. Maybe the different style on her icebreakers commercial helps it look better. I'm just not a fan of the mullet look.
I definitely think now that I have seen Ashley on some talk shows and a few more commercials that the darker look really suits her. When you think about it, few women can really pull off such dramatically different looks and still look pretty. I always wanted to go really dark but I'm so pale I'm afraid I'd look really washed out so I've never tried it. But anyways, I think her hair looks great - it's healthy, full, and shiny - so at least the change wasn't a bad one imo.

Ashlee, to my surprise, does look good as a brunette, even though she also looks good as a blonde. I really like her current hairstyle and color, which is black, not brown. I think she was struck with brunette fever and followed Christina Aguilera's similar path last year. I noticed that female rock stars tend to have more retro/punk look than typical actresses.
I like the last pic that was posted to the board. With her black/Brown hair. Not bad at all.

Sorry, I couldn't really tell from the first Pizza Hut commercial because she was only in it for a moment, and I thought that it was at least dark brown. I wasn't quite sure if it was black, that's why I corrected myself later and just said darker - I figured either way it was true. She pulls off both colors well imo. I was almost wondering if she went darker because she's putting out a cd, which I've heard her describe as somewhat more punk rock or at least in that same vein, so maybe blonde didn't stand out as all that punk. Either way, nice color. I'm not sure if I love the cut but I definitely don't think it's as bad as some people describe.
i think that ashelly simpsons new brown hair is not to stay because on her new show on mtv her hair is brown i like it brown tho. so i think it was just for the commercial
She did it her self with a store bought hair color. And she said she did it for a change and she likes it, I think she wants to look different from her big sis Jessy whom had brown hair a few years ago and looked stunning imo. I hope ashley keeps her hair dark it looks so much better than the blonde, now if she would get a style she would look good.
