I have been thinking about getting my hair permed like a spirel curl. I was looking for suggestions and pros and cons on this subject, all help will be appriciated I am going to prob do this week also

p.s. my hair is about 2 inches from my shoulders and is straight fine and brunnet

since you said you have a bob, it might look nice if you get it waved, sort of 40`s style finger-waves. i`ll try to find a site that shows what this looks like for you. Hope this helps!

Make sure you use a good conditioner and pamper your perm. I had a spiral for 6 months and then cut my hair to chin length. My hair was past my shoulders. It took me some time to get use to my curls. Let me know how it turns out!

hi all
I got it done I went in and showed her a pic of what I wanted(on style selector #4536 and she said ok and she wraped me in orange and grey rods
the out come was in my mind just wonderful and as cute as can be.

Hi Jangles. I don`t have a scanner and digital camera. But you can go to hairboutique styles #4760 shows about the same color and length and style 4286 shows about the size of spiral. My spirals were a little bigger. She used the bir rollers on me when she permed. I hope this helps. Conditioner regular to keep it looking nice.

Yea, I know. I was really lucky. I had never had a perm before and was scared of all the things that could go wrong. I didn`t want to get the perm but my mom finally talked me into it. Lisa, the lady that did my perm used these BIG rollers and it came out really pretty. I liked it after I got use to it. It was such a different look for me.
Anyway after about 7 months I just couldn`t deal with it anymore and didn`t really want another perm so I cut my hair from below shoulder length to chin length but shorter in the back. Sometimes I miss the curls but I like it straight too.
