every night i do 5 sets of pushups 30 reps and 5 sets of crunches 40 reps. but he right you gotta work on your diet, run some and try to work for tone while in the weight room.(more reps less weight)in between my sets i only rest for 35 seconds.

I do more weight and about 8 reps. I mean some guys look all toned up and muscular but they can't even help their girl lift up her laundry or a heavy box. I wanna actually have strength and not just look like I have it but don't.

I was wondering about this too.

But if you want to lose weight you should write down EVERYTHING you eat. That way you'll really keep yourself on track.

Yeah, it helps the body function properly even if you don't eat right.

A good diet would be good. Maybe you should speak to your doctor to help you get a schedule and write a list of foods that you eat that he can help you with. Ask him to not remove the foods but a way to make the same foods but in a way which it will not be as harmful. I like sweets, so I try to eat sweets once a week but not everyday.

Also, you should do cardio and weight training. Walk as much as possible, take the steps instead of the elevator and weights are for toning. It should be a lifestyle and not a diet ( which are temporary).

Water, helps to cleanse the bodies of impurities and also it helps your body to function properly to remove toxins. Here is a site you could go to and help you get a work out plan schedule with your schedule...www.workoutplan.com

Hey don't fall into those fad diets. Don't avoid carbs if your trying to get into shape, because carbs provide energy that'll help you exercise longer. I think you should talk with VGSTA about reps and sets and what would benefit you best.

No snacks or anything like that? That sustains you? Wow, you must not live on campus. Our cafe ladies give up huge portions so I get lots of different foods so they don't give me alot of one thing.

Do you play any sports or just a plain student? Ya know, walking around all day?
