Just continue to use motions, or try carrot creme or pink lotion. The sportin waves wont help you get a waves. S curl doesn't really help either unless you have more hair. Just keep brushing and brushing.

The s curl really isn't for waves. S Curl will give you curly hair and that's for if you are going for that curly hair look. As for your question, the S Curl is not for short hair. When your hair is short, it's not long enough for the s curl to activate the curling of your hair.
