I really like the look of the malaysian weave technique.

So do I...I am in the same boat as you girl, really fine hair. My braids are pretty sturdy but I have had them re done twice by two different stylist in a month and I still look like I have a bald spot. I went with a single hand tied weft and my last stylist had a heart attack, I had to see her again this week because she cut it and all the hair on the right side of my head fell out..lol. Not funny but im tired of it so hopefully I get at least a month of peace out of this install. What did u guys mean by "rings" ? meaning micro ring strand by strand?
Currant method Hair locs.

OK another question.  I bet you know this one, MS.  I remember reading somewhere on  here where to send hair to be hand tied.  Where was that and how much?

So sourgirl this is a new install now? Is it going better? Is your natural hair getting messed up? What do you mean bald spot?

Except she got machine wefts for that price.. (They charge by the ounce) I don't know if they do custom hand-tied wefts.. You would have to call Extensions Plus and ask.. My guess is that if they do custom hand tied wefts, that it will cost a little more than the machine wefts..

Diva, is there a big difference in size between EP's handtieds and machine wefts?

Well when you are ordering custom hair from Extensions Plus they can be made any density you want.. so it depends on what you get.. I've seen some custom hand tied hair that was QUADRUPLE density (SUPER SUPER THICK!!!LOL)

This may be a non issue though.. I do not know for certain if can you get outside hair (non EP hair) wefted into hand-tied wefts... I've never inquired.. All of the outside hair I ever had wefted at EP I had done in machine wefts..
