You must have the absolute fastest-growing hair on the earth! One post says that your hair is above your shoulders. Another post says that your hair is at your shoulders. And now, all of a sudden, your hair is 3 inches below your shoulders.
I like the idea of the chiffon dress and shawl. very feminine! .....wearing your hair up can be very sexy especially with a nice necklace and a pair of pretty dangle earrings. The French restaurant and the nice walk along the river-( the Thames by chance?)- and through the park with the summer grass and trees sounds very romantic. What kinds of styles do you already know how to do? Let us know. Or are you looking for new (to you) style ideas?
Very vague "suggestions" here... at the restaurant, wear it back, or up... and wear it that way the entire evening, or... if at some point you feel like letting it free, you could do that relatively easily.
No matter what, I'm sure your hair will be great.

Advice.... .something I always have but for the wrong point. For your hair, I don't know, like your personality? Be yourself? That should suffice, and if it doesn't, forget him. Just have fun regardless.
I hate all of the following and lots more : Fundamentalists, racists, sexists, fascists, ageists (people saying seniors = senile , kids = stupid , 18 = immature or a combo of them), and bigots for causes yet to receive their own designation.

I’m meeting up with someone this Friday and would appreciate some advice on what to do with my tresses.
Usually I wear my hair up for first dates, but he has seen it down before so I’m not overly hung up about that. Here is the deal:
1. We are going to a French restaurant – quite formal – fairly early in the evening. 2. Then we intend to walk along the river and through the park. This bit will be quite relaxed.
Seeing as summer is in full flow here, I shall be wearing a chiffon skirt, a bodice and a light shawl. I want the hair to transition from formal to casual with ease – or be in a “style” that doesn’t need to transition. I don’t want my hair to be in “wild abandon” mode as that would be inappropriate in this case, nor do I want it to be completely non-contributory to the intended beauty of the evening.
My hair is straight-wavy combination and just 3 inches below my shoulders in length (22 inches from hair-line to ends at the back of the head). Sorry I have no pics to give you an idea.
Totally unsure about how to wear it.
Someone please help. Any and all suggestions gratefully received.
