This is probably way too late.... but it she still has frizzy hair, tell her to use a leave in conditioner and a smoothing product for hair. (There are heaps) It worked really well for me, and my best friend used to call me the fuzz, cause my hair was fuzzy.
you could put it all in a high ponytail and curl sections of hair (maybe 2 in.) around a curling iron and gently pull out to give her the look of ringlets....
