ok everybody. a week ago i decided to dye my already dyed red hair black, and put pink highlights in it. well, it looked great, but i have a performance of my musical coming up (were doing little shop of horrors) and i wanted something less funky. so i decided to bleach the black and pink out of my hair. i went to wegmans, and bought Clairol Herbal Essences bleach, and some Loreal colorspa Moistureactif, and did my hair. my hair is now a nice burgandy color, but it feels so rough cuz of the bleach. it doesnt have any split ends, or any visible signs of damage (other that the roughness) and i was wonder ing what i did wrong, and how to get my hair to be soft again. can anyone help me?
i do mean the roughness. the burgandy color came out just fine. my hair
now though, feels much better. the ends are still a little rough, but i
planned on getting a trim anyways.

you can do anything if you set your mindto it (just dont try this with hair, that could turn out bad)

loads and loads of moistureing products, use a deep conditoner daily in combination with leave-in conditioner.
Exactly. It's not that anything went wrong, bleach just damages
your hair (and so does dying it, but to a lesser extent than
bleach). Even if you don't have splits, your hair is still a
little damaged and moisturizing it is all you can do to make it as soft
as you can again.
