ok everybody. a week ago i decided to dye my already dyed red hair black, and put pink highlights in it. well, it looked great, but i have a performance of my musical coming up (were doing little shop of horrors) and i wanted something less funky. so i decided to bleach the black and pink out of my hair. i went to wegmans, and bought Clairol Herbal Essences bleach, and some Loreal colorspa Moistureactif, and did my hair. my hair is now a nice burgandy color, but it feels so rough cuz of the bleach. it doesnt have any split ends, or any visible signs of damage (other that the roughness) and i was wonder ing what i did wrong, and how to get my hair to be soft again. can anyone help me?

When you say "what went wrong" do you mean the burgundy color? Or the roughness?

i do mean the roughness. the burgandy color came out just fine. my hair now though, feels much better. the ends are still a little rough, but i planned on getting a trim anyways.

Exactly.  It's not that anything went wrong, bleach just damages your hair (and so does dying it, but to a lesser extent than bleach).  Even if you don't have splits, your hair is still a little damaged and moisturizing it is all you can do to make it as soft as you can again.
